Senior HSE Specialist

Brief Job Description:

Manage and coordinate all HSE matters related to company activities, available projects through cooperation with Operating Companies HSE representatives
Job duties:

Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation, and review HSE statistics, and reports from Operating Companies.
Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and international standards consultancy for management, including advice on HSE matters.
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis reviews.
Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
Provide QHSE induction training and conduct HSE meetings with interested parties.
Coordinate HSE issues between Headquarters and Operating Companies and cooperate with interested parties’ HSE representatives.
Prepare, implement, and improve required HSE documentation, and handle all HSE-related documentation reviews and issues.
Plan & conduct site visits for HSE monitoring & prepare site visit reports.
Review Tenders Strategies, Annual HSE plans of Operation Companies
Additional requirements

At least five years of Oil and gas experience required (prior experience in HSE lead roles is preferred.)
Understanding of local laws about environmental standards, risk management, and HSE.
Lead auditor certifications from IOSH, ISO 45001, and NEBOSH (required) are advantageous.
Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
Strong understanding of international standards (ISO; API).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Azerbaijani and English.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Electronic Document Management Systems.
