Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end procurement processes for key projects, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management
Ensure procurement activities are in compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, legal, finance) to define procurement strategies and specifications
Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors to build a reliable vendor base
Monitor market trends and conduct cost and risk analyses to optimize procurement decisions
Manage tendering processes, evaluate bids, and prepare procurement recommendations
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and performance data
Resolve vendor disputes and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Provide mentorship and support to junior procurement staff
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience, preferably in the oil and gas or energy industry
Strong knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, and contract administration
Familiarity with international sourcing and logistics
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
Fluency in English (written and spoken); Russian or Azerbaijani is a plus
