Project Manager (with Electrical Engineering Background)

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project delivery from planning to execution.
Supervise the engineering division, ensuring completion of electrical and multidisciplinary projects within budget and schedule constraints.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to align project objectives.
Oversee all engineering and construction activities in compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Coordinate with Procurement for timely acquisition of electrical equipment and related materials.
Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring deadlines and conditions are met.
Conduct risk assessments, identify mitigation strategies, and update risk management plans.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress and resolve on-site issues.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and corporate policies.
Requirements:

University degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus)
Minimum 7 years of experience in managing industrial EPC projects
Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading and understanding engineering designs
Experience working with international and multicultural teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are welcomed but not mandatory
Fluency in English; knowledge of Azerbaijani and Russian is an advantage
