Location: Baku city, Garadagh region, Baku-Astara highway 25km.

The company operating in the marine & construction industry is looking for an Accounting Intern. The main role of the Accounting Intern is to support the Finance Department in a wide range of accounting & financial operations-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Department in various tasks, including:

Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and record maintenance.
Help reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
Processing of invoices, credit or debit memos according to the company’s procedures.
Support in performing various accounting and tax compliance duties.
Assist with the timely and accurate calculation of wages and related taxes.
Support for submission of statistical reports to the State Statistics Committee.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and yearly closing operations.
Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance.
Working experience software Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel functions and tools.
Fluency in Azerbaijani, with a minimum Pre-Intermediate level of English.
General knowledge of Tax and Labor legislation.
Open to self-learning and self-investigation, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
