We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our accounting team and ensure the integrity of financial information by managing all accounting operations. This is a key leadership role that will work closely with senior management to support financial planning, compliance, and decision-making.

Job Description

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and tax reporting
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Supervise the month-end and year-end closing processes
Monitor compliance with tax regulations and company policies
Prepare budget forecasts and assist in strategic financial planning
Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and tax authorities
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Maintain and improve internal controls
Lead and develop a team of accountants and finance staff
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, including leadership experience
Strong knowledge of local tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., 1C, SAP,) and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
