Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and supportive Commercial Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of project requirements and will be adept at assisting in contract preparation and negotiation. This role involves assisting in all aspects of subcontractor tenders and contracts, preparing claim changes and variations, assisting in contract amendments, and supporting efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Preparation: Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders for subcontractors as per project drawings and specifications.
Contract Negotiation and Preparation: Assist in negotiating, reviewing, and preparing contracts for subcontractors, ensuring all agreements align with project requirements and standards.
Contract Execution: Assist in arranging the signature and stamp execution of Contracts and Payment Certificates.
Interim Payment Certificates: Support in reviewing and preparing Interim Payment Certificates and Progress Reports, ensuring timely and accurate payment processes.
Contract Amendments: Assist in preparing and executing Contract Amendments for subcontractors and client contracts.
Final Accounts: Support in preparing and executing Final Accounts, ensuring all financial aspects are properly closed at the end of the project.
Documentation Archiving: Assist in archiving and storing project-related commercial documentation both in hard and soft copy formats.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Contract Assistant, Commercial Assistant, Cost Control Assistant or in a similar role prefered
Proficient in the use of MS Office and relevant software.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Good communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
Skills:

Language skills: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (upper intermediate), Turkish (upper intermediate)
Personal skills: Attentive to details, Negotiation skills, Team worker
Ability to work well with a team
Able to effectively navigate and excel within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with grace and efficiency
