Job Overview:

We are looking for a sharp-minded, experienced Financial Controller to join our team and take ownership of financial integrity, strategic financial oversight, and data-driven decision support. This role requires more than just technical accuracy, demands someone with a questioning mind, a strong sense of financial control, and the drive to improve efficiency and transparency across the company’s financial functions. The candidate should maintain professional skepticism.

Responsibilities:

Daily monitoring of the sales results, and reconciliation of the sale documents with internal documents and bank statements
Daily monitor accuracy of bank charges per non-cash sales via POS terminals, and analyze the compliance with loan sales
Reconciliation of the information with inputs in the ERP system and identification of the root causes of spotted discrepancies
Regular reconciliation of receivable and advance accounts with vendors
Participate in regular and ad-hock stock counts
Lead financial investigations and collaborate with internal control team, ensuring timely coordination and resolution of raised matters
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions with robust financial data
Monitor and enhance internal control mechanisms; proactively identify and mitigate financial risks
And other relevant requests of management
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (ACCA, CFE, or CIA certifications are preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/finance, including at least 1 years in controller role
The candidate must have professional proficiency in English (Russian is preferrable)
Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to details, ability to question assumptions and challenge the status quo in a constructive way
Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory frameworks
Proficiency with Excel and 1C 8.3 ERP system
Strong communication skills with ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
