Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Junior System Administrator / DevOps Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of Linux systems, automation, and modern DevOps practices, and be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor Linux servers and critical services
Write Bash or Python scripts to automate routine tasks
Assist in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for web applications
Work with containerization technologies (Docker, basic Kubernetes)
Support infrastructure provisioning and deployments
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth release cycles
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment-related issues
Configure and maintain web servers such as Nginx or Apache
Monitor logs and performance metrics using standard tools
Ensure system security and manage SSH access, firewall, and permissions
Requirements

1+ years of experience in DevOps, IT operations, or system administration
Solid knowledge of Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts
Experience preparing and maintaining CI/CD jobs (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python
Understanding of infrastructure components: networking, DNS, load balancers, firewall rules
Experience working with version control systems, especially Git
Familiarity with web server configuration (Nginx, Apache)
Knowledge of log monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
Ability to troubleshoot system and deployment issues
Basic security understanding: SSH key usage, firewall config, user permissioning
Basic English reading and writing skills (for documentation, logs, and tools)
