About the Role

Honours Academy is launching a new internal initiative — the Honours Language Institute (HLI) — and we are looking for the founding instructor and academic leader to set the foundation. This role goes far beyond teaching. You will be responsible for building the entire academic structure, designing courses, implementing methodologies, and shaping the culture of English learning at Honours Academy.

We are looking for someone who can teach, lead, and organize.

Key Responsibilities

Develop the academic structure, syllabi, course programs, and assessment systems for English language training under HLI
Teach English classes across multiple levels (e.g., General English, Academic English, or Business English)
Select and mentor future English language instructors
Plan teaching schedules, manage workloads, and monitor attendance
Analyze participant feedback and propose improvements to enhance training quality
Build and promote a positive, structured, and innovative learning culture within HLI
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching English (preferably to adults)
Proven experience in curriculum development and academic planning
Strong organizational and leadership skills
English proficiency at C1 level or higher (certifications such as IELTS 7.5+, TOEFL, TKT, TESOL, or equivalent are a plus)
Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
Knowledge of Russian is an advantage
