Azvvallet LLC announces about vacancy for position of Chief Information Security Officer.

Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer (Part-Time)

Work schedule: Part-time role with up to 20 hours/week (flexible working schedule)

Work place: Hybrid work environment (remote + occasional office presence)

Work hours: 09-00 till 18-00 (13-00 till 14-00 lunch break).

Competitive salary: 1500-2000 AZN

AzWallet is a licensed fintech company regulated by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBAR). We are looking for a Part-Time Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to establish and manage our information security framework and ensure full compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement AzWallet’s information security policies, standards, and procedures
Ensure full compliance with CBAR cybersecurity requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001)
Perform risk assessments, security reviews, and internal audits
Lead incident response and coordinate handling of security breaches
Review and enforce security controls across infrastructure, networks, and applications
Provide clear security reporting and insights to the executive team
Support secure development practices and DevSecOps collaboration
Lead security awareness efforts across the organization
Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years in cybersecurity or information security leadership roles
Strong knowledge of regulatory security standards, especially for fintech or banking
Hands-on understanding of network and cloud security, SIEM, MFA, DLP, etc.
Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA etc.
Fluent in Azerbaijani, English or Russian proficiency is a plus
Strong documentation, communication, and reporting skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
