Industry: Oil & Gas
Work Schedule: 5 working days per week
Salary: Determined after the interview
Experience: Minimum 3 years in the Oil & Gas sector
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements
Maintain accurate employee records (salary adjustments, deductions, etc.)
Issue annual salary reference letters upon request
Prepare regular and ad-hoc payroll reports
Administer and maintain the electronic timekeeping system
Review and verify approved timesheets, sick leaves, and vacation requests
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure proper data flow and reporting
Review and process advances, travel claims, overtime, and other special payroll deductions
Handle the full monthly payroll cycle, including onboarding, terminations, and leave management
Stay up to date on labor legislation changes and ensure company compliance
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of payroll systems and local employment regulations
Good understanding of the Labor Code and benefits administration
Proficiency in 1C software and advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel)
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Language Skills:
Azerbaijani – Advanced
English – Upper-intermediate (B2)
Russian – Highly preferred
