Procurement Engineer (Oil & Gas Equipment)

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement of equipment and spare parts for oil & gas projects (including pumps, valves, compressors, instrumentation, etc.);
Sourcing, evaluating, and selecting reliable local and international suppliers;
Conducting negotiations, issuing RFQs, and analyzing commercial offers;
Working with technical and tender documentation; understanding technical specifications;
Collaborating closely with engineering, production, and logistics departments;
Placing orders and managing the full cycle of delivery – from order to warehouse receipt;
Preparing supply contracts, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with terms;
Managing international procurement operations including INCOTERMS and logistics coordination;
Market research and expanding the supplier database;
Participating in tenders and preparing bid documentation and proposals.
Candidate Requirements:

Higher technical or engineering-economic education (preferably in energy or mechanical engineering);
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the oil & gas equipment segment;
Strong knowledge of technical equipment and industry specifics;
Fluent in Russian and English (both written and spoken);
Familiarity with international procurement procedures and logistics processes;
Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and technical documentation;
Strong negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure and multitask;
Willingness to travel for business purposes.
