Job Summary:

The QA/QC Team Leader will oversee and lead the quality assurance and control operations on construction and infrastructure projects. The role requires developing, implementing, and monitoring QA/QC plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. This position will be responsible for leading a team of inspectors, coordinating audits, reviewing technical documentation, and liaising with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of project-specific Quality Control Plans.
Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate the QA/QC team’s daily activities, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
Interpret engineering drawings and verify that construction is aligned with the design.
Monitor construction activities in accordance with approved Construction Plans and timelines.
Oversee the quality control inspections of subcontractors’ work and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Collaborate with Governmental Structures to review and respond to official opinions and comments regarding construction projects.
Prepare, review, and submit detailed technical reports (quarterly and annually) for all audited projects.
Ensure proper documentation, archiving, and traceability of all QA/QC processes and audits.
Evaluate completed and ongoing projects and provide estimates and recommendations for improvements.
Conduct internal audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Train and mentor QA/QC staff to ensure continuous improvement in quality practices.
Complete all tasks and reports as assigned by upper management in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum [5+] years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction or infrastructure projects, including leadership experience.
Strong understanding of quality systems, audit practices, and construction procedures.
Familiarity with local regulatory standards and international QA/QC guidelines.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC software tools is a plus.
