Job information
Duties and responsibilities:
– Organizing and implementing training and development programs to ensure that management, staff and subcontractors are aware of the company’s HSE policy and rules;
– Ensuring that OHSAS 18001 standards are met;
– Organizing and monitoring the implementation of legislative and standard requirements related to HSE rules;
– Familiarizing all employees, contractors and visitors with HSE
rules; – Participating in field monitoring and preparing relevant reports to monitor compliance with HSE rules, monitoring the results of measures to be taken;
– Organizing monthly monitoring, evaluation and review of HSE activities at the plant, preparing relevant reports and submitting them to management;
Investigating accidents occurring in production and construction, preparing relevant documents and cooperating with relevant government agencies; accident probability/risk/observation reports;
– Participating in investigating incidents, preparing relevant reports and monitoring the implementation of decisions made;
– Ensuring, controlling and monitoring the implementation of the permit to work system;
– Ensuring the implementation of the relevant procedures and instructions in case of emergencies. Organizing training related to emergencies;
– Monitoring the implementation of daily inspections;
– Ensuring the implementation of fire safety requirements, regular inspection of fire safety equipment and tools;
– Ensuring the implementation of the permit to work system and risk assessment for the purpose of identifying and controlling risks;
– Organizing fire protection measures, ensuring the operational condition of fire protection systems;
– Drawing up, implementing and monitoring the work of the emergency plan;
– Monitoring atmospheric emissions resulting from the plant’s activities in accordance with the environmental norms and standards of Azerbaijan;
– Preparing the department’s employee selection and annual training plan.

– Working conditions: lunch, special clothing provided by the company.
– Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00
– Days off: Sunday

– Note: Preference is given to residents of Sahil settlement, Lokbatan, Sangachal, Umud, Gobustan, and Alat settlements.

Candidate requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or a similar field;
– At least 1-3 years of work experience in a related field;
– Customer orientation;
– Awareness of occupational safety and health regulations;
– Sustainable development;
– Integrity;
– Local legislation requirements regarding Occupational Safety;
– ISO 45001; ISO 9001; standards requirements;
– Environmental and Ecology regulations;
– Sanitary and Hygiene regulations.
