Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time

As the Lead Electrical Designer, you will:

Be an Azerbaijani citizen
Aid the project in creating schedules, time assignment and resource allocation
Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements
Input to project plans
Identify areas of concern during any project or study
Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential)

About You

You’ll have experience of: 

Producing, checking and approving deliverables that conform to all applicable industry engineering codes and standards as well as the client’s policies and procedures relative to the equipment being specified. Sound knowledge of relevant commonly used codes therefore required.
Leading a team of designers and coordinating work tasks to achieve required plan dates or be a senior / principal engineer looking for a step up in their career.
Managing design team budgets, produce scope estimates and recognising and controlling scope change.
Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.

Qualifications

HND in relevant engineering discipline
Previous demonstrable experience in detailed design
Experience in design checking
Knowledge and understanding of relevant oil and gas industry codes and standards
Understanding of all engineering disciplines
Highly competent in the use of Autodesk design products
Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
Exposure to People Management
Excellent written and spoken English
